Everyone loves Monday Football right?  I watch it (though sometimes I don’t quite understand.  All I know is run as fast as you can!). On Mondays bond with the girls and cheer with the guys over a beer or nachos and why not do it in an atmosphere with REAL CHICAGO BEARS players?  You heard me right!  On Monday nights Cagney’s (2142 North Clybourn) is the place to be (pictures from the weekly event)!

I had a wonderful time at newly minted VH1’s Best Hip Hop DJ (and Chicago resident) Timbuk2 birthday bash at Lumen.  I must give Lumen a round of applause for the new layout and fresh take!

I also swung by LuxLounge for a Luvabulls party.  I must say I was quite disappointed. I didn’t see the Luvabulls or giveaways that were advertised. Putting that aside, the space above LuxBar is very swanky and cozy with great music.  Drop by ( Fridays and Saturdays only), but I suggest go early to grab a table

50 Cent recently dropped by Macy’s (State Street) to unveil his new fragrance and later at AMC Illinois for a screening of  his new movie “Before I Self Destruct’.  50 wrote directed and starred in the movie.  The preview audience said it wasn’t like he was out of his element since he did live a similar life style before rapping but overall a good film…….. Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child) also stopped by Macy’s to help light the 2009 Christmas tree Nov 7th.  Later she dined at Sunda…. Singers Amerie and Omarion hosted Remix the Runway and performed at Red No Five on Nov 6^th…. Bill Clinton was spotted on Veterans Day at Table Fifty-Two

Neicy Nash was spotted at Wishbone this past weekend and  Former Bulls player Antoine Walker was spotted at Market on Friday the 13^th.  I hope he didn’t write a check because it is now known that he is being pursued by several financial institutions for debts of $4 million and maybe more!

Sad news: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia in 2008.  Since he began treatment, his symptoms have receded.

Jennifer Lopez ex husband Ojani Noa apparently has an incriminating tape of him spanking Jennifer and her in skimpy clothing.  He wants to sell the tape, she wants him to shut his trap so she’s suing him for a cool $10 million….that’s that Jenny From the Block attitude

Fergie may have to sing her own song, “Big Girls Don’t Cry’ because her hubby Josh Duhamel has been accused of cheating with an Atlanta stripper.  Nicole Forrester says she had sex with Duhamel in an Atlanta she also says she has text messages and a polygraph test to back her up.   She sold her story to the National Enquirer for more than $20,000.  Interesting
