Luxe food products at wholesale prices – this weekend!

epicurean
You probably realize that your favorite restaurant doesn’t get its exotic meats, cheeses, and pastries from the local grocery store…but where do they find these culinary treasurers?

European Imports, Ltd is one of the largest wholesale distributor of specialty products in the area.  Chances are you’ve had some of their Spanish serrano ham or English stilton cheese while dining at the Chicagoland area’s top restaurants.  Oh, and the lacy chocolate accents topping a fruit tart?  European Imports has those, too.

So, why haven’t you heard of this place before?  Chances are, it’s because you’re not in the restaurant industry, and thus, can’t shop there.  Sad, isn’t it?  Sad, except for five times a year, when European Imports opens its doors to the public!

Just in time for the holidays, you can browse the aisles this weekend from November 19th-21st, and again on December 17th -19th!  Stock up on crackers, pasta, cheese, mustards, oils and more.  Some products will be marked with a screaming red expiration date sticker, but that’s often a “sell by” date, not a “use by” deadline, meaning those products still have some useable life left in them.  You should use your judgement, but of course, don’t risk your health!

Another tip: Bring your epicurean imagination and cash or check – credit cards are not accepted.

European Imports, Ltd is at 2475 N. Elston Ave in Chicago

  8. Skip Hop Studio Diaper Tote Bag is awesome. So many wallets – as well as not really these small, useless pockets, either. Almost all of the actual pockets are a excellent size and genuinely help maintain everything organized. The handles are a good length and fit nicely over the shoulder; the handle shoulder straps additionally stay put on my own shoulder, which is essential as soon as you are carrying a child. The handbag seems wonderful, too. Not too fancy, but not as well casual. (I’ve it in black) The material is soft (can’t feel of a superior word) so it is uncomplicated to squeeze in to tight spaces – but yet it is sturdy. I’ve a Fleurville Lexi carry and I love it, as well, but that tote is type of stiff. I feel this Skip*Hop may become my everyday tote. It’s a little bit substantial – so if you’re not in to big bags this may be much better as an over-night diaper handbag.
